Camping is first-come, first-serve. Only camp in the designated camping areas shown on the map below. Official BLM camp sites on Solo Row may be used by racers if they are open. Only Solo riders should camp on Solo Row.

On-Course camping for solo racers and support. There is a limited number of spaces that will accommodate an RV on Solo row. Most of these places are at the end of the camping venue.

Team Camping is located off Frog Town Rd and has an excellent view of much of the course. All teams must camp in this area, including those with very large RV’s. The further down the road you camp the more quiet and privacy you will have during quiet hours.

Day Parking

Day Camping is located to the South of the Venue on the opposite ridge. If you need to leave the venue during the day, this is the best place to park. All non-racer support will be asked to park in this area.

Fire Restrictions

You may have a personal campfire at your site as long as it is CONTAINED ABOVE GROUND. Bring a fire pan, chiminea, or fire barrel.

There are about 3 BLM-designed camping sites in the Venue. If you are lucky enough to get one, you may use the provided fire ring.

Be Prepared

Every race team should come equipped to support yourself to have a successful race. This includes all food and water needed for racing and camping. We suggest bringing a variety of food, at least 2 gallons of water per person; after all you will be racing in the desert.
