WHAT IS BLOCK PRICING?

Block pricing rewards those who register early. However, instead of the rate changing a specific date, the rate is limited to the first group of people.

For unPAVed it’s the first 266 get the best pricing, then  266-500, 501-701, and 701 and up have the highest fee.

For OverNighter and 30 Milers, it’s the first 50, then the price goes up to the highest fee.

funPAved is one price, anytime.

All JR’s are required to enter a waitlist when registering. Once on the list submit your waiver, application, and supporting documents. Once you are accepted you will be moved into the event. See Rules

When the race or a specific category is full we will start a waitlist.

The waitlist is managed with the registration. When a spot opens up we will accept the next person on the list.

All JR’s must sign up on a waitlist, then submit their waiver and application. Once accepted they will be let into the event.

YOU Can now edit items on your registration if you have a Bikereg Account – phone, address, and email. You can also change the team category or team names.

Transfers and Category Changes must be made through your Bike Reg Account. Some actions are not allowed if you register as a guest. Change fees will apply.

If you change to a lessor distance you will not receive a refund on the price difference.

If you change to a higher-priced category you will pay the change fee + the price difference.

What is  Your CANCELLATIONS POLICY?

No refunds, No exceptions.

We begin planning, permitting,  and purchasing items for an event well in advance based on your pre-registration. Therefore we have a strict no refund policy. Be aware when you decide to register. We feel like our flexible transfer and change policies should accommodate most people and situations.

  1. GRO CANCELLATION POLICY No refunds, No exceptions.
    1. Up to 45 Days Prior to the event:  Deadline to Defer to the following year. A fee may apply. You must transfer to the same race and Category. Deferrals are good for 1 year only. You can not defer a second year. You may transfer your entry to another person if you have a deferred entry, but it must be done 30 days prior to the event.
    2.  Up to 10 Days Prior to the Event;
      1. You may transfer your entry to a different participant using the online transfer tool. Registration is transferable to the current event and year only. The deadline to Transfer is 10 days prior to the event online.
      2. You may change to a different category for a fee. The last day to make changes is 10 days prior to the race.
      3. If there is a waitlist in your category, you may request a credit or refund if there is a person who can take your spot off the waitlist.
      4. You may cancel your entry and receive a credit valued at 40% of your entry fee to use toward any GRO event within 1 year of cancellation. You MUST cancel no less than 10 days prior to the scheduled event.
    3. 9-0 Days before the Event:  Cancellations less than 10 days prior to an event and no-shows do not qualify for a credit.

Cancelations must be made in writing to info@groraces.com. Cancelation inquiries will not be accepted via text or social media messaging.

Event Cancellations

The safety of racers, your crew, and our volunteers and staff is critically important to us here at GRO ! This means there may come a time when a race must be delayed,  shortened or canceled due to Mother Nature or other uncontrollable circumstances. In this situation we will do our best to modify times so we can get fair results, but under no circumstances will refunds be issued.

If the event is canceled due to a second COVID 19 shutdown participants can either be transferred to a future year or receive a %50 credit to another GRO Race.

Participant Insurance

We highly suggest you purchase the insurance with your registration provided by BikeReg. This is separate from our company and will cover you in case of illness,  injury, or event cancelations due to weather and other unforeseen situations.

If you purchase the insurance and have a claim, call BikeReg directly. We can not process your claim. But, if you file one it will void any rights to a credit or transfer on our end. You can’t do both.
