What’s going on in Green Valley?

A lot of people have been asking about the construction that is taking place in the area previously known as Green Valley. Rest assured we have been working very closely with the developer of Divario Masterplanned Community and they have been accommodating mountain biking and community events into the development plan. The course may change slightly each year as phases go in so stay turned as access point and trails may change.

For 2021 we built some new single track to connect pieces of trail that we cut off by road construction and clearing. The part that may be different for this year is Keyhole wash. The wash and feature have been preserved, there is a tunnel under the road. However, this tunnel is prone to flooding.   We may not know which route we are using until the week of the event. If you are pre-riding you may need to ride some neighborhood streets to connect back to the single track until it is ready.

The over-all course will be really close to the same distance it has always been. 

Once the trail construction is complete we will be sending a file to update the official Trailforks file.

Also, note that due to construction the Gravel race will again be escorted via Sunset & Dixie Drive and enter the Bear Claw Poppy Trail the same as last year. This file will be updated at the same time as the others
