Take Route 155 to the right, heading toward Huacas, for approximately 25 minutes. Immediately after Huacas, take Route 180 to the right, looking for Brasilito Beach (15 minutes). Once there, look for the signs for Las Catalinas, passing Potrero village (10 minutes). Continue, going up the hill for 5 minutes, and then down t

Driving time from nearby towns: Take into consideration race day traffic and possible construction traffic near the venue. The nearest towns Las Catalinas are Brasalito ( 20 Minutes) , Flamingo ( 20 Minutes), or Portero ( 5-10 Minutes)

By Bike

It is reasonable to ride from alternative lodging between Portero and Las Catalina. The total ride distance is about 2 miles or 3.3K and traffic is light. Keep in mind that there are 3 very steep hills you will have to climb to reach the starting line. You don’t want to expend too much extra energy before the race.

If you choose to ride from Basalito or Flamingo please be very careful as the traffic is heavy and roads are narrow. Research alternative dirt roads between these towns to avoid the main road until you reach Portero.

Bike Parking: Las Catalinas will be providing secure bike parking during the event.  The bike storage also includes a self-serve wash station to clean your bike each day. This is included if you are racing with a 3-day package or with some lodging packages. If you are only racing one day and staying off-site, there is a $10 fee to store your bike. You can pay by cash or Credit card on-site.
