The event takes place in the Hólmsheiði and Heiðmörk areas accessible from the 1 hwy.
During your time at each location, you will be “off the clock”. Timing will be stopped and you can take as long of a break as needed.
We have secured a Base Camp at the Heidi-Fislelag ( Airplane Hangers). This area is available for camping and parking during the event. This is where spectators and support crews can watch the competition and support their racers during the day and night.
All rides will start their ride here.
OLIS STATION
This is a 24 hour gas station just a few meters off the course. You can access three food restaurants- LEMON, GRILL 66, and a coffee and pastry bar – plus an array of packaged snacks and drinks.
Gamli Sular ( the old hall) at Ellivantn will serve as a support area for the event. The hall has tables and toilets. You will be able to take a break and access your drop bags.
